Joe founded Monarch Information Security Consulting in 2014 expressly to meet the unique needs of businesses grappling with today’s myriad of laws, regulations and data security challenges. He holds a CISSP® certification from ISC2©, and is a Certified Assessor (CA), Provisional Instructor (PI) and Registered Practitioner (RP) with the Cyber AB.
John Rogers, CISSP®, Cyber AB Lead CCA, PI, has 25 years’ experience in cybersecurity, and loves the field. He is also grateful for the relationships sustained with coworkers and clients. John’s focus includes helping clients develop, manage, and assess risk-based security programs that integrate with core business strategies, withstanding regulatory examination, audit, and the test of time. Whether serving as Senior Advisor, Virtual CISO, or member of a board committee, he is trusted to consistently deliver sound advice and excellent work. As a sought-after public speaker, John uses humor and stories from the field to remove fear from this critical subject matter, help his audience relate to it, and feel empowered to contribute as individuals regardless of their role.
With over 25 years of experience in highly regulated industries, Brenda has worked with hundreds of small and medium-sized businesses developing information security programs that are “right-sized” for the organization. In addition to risk assessments, governance policy & process development, business continuity, and disaster recovery, Brenda conducts cybersecurity training and informational sessions for all levels of the organization. She is recognized for her incisive assessments of an organization’s technical vulnerabilities, quickly identifying cyber risks and prioritizing remedial actions. Brenda holds CISA, CISM, and CDPSE certifications from ISACA and is a Certified CMMC Lead Assessor (CCA).
Steve Kallio, CISSP®, CCSP®, CMMC-CP & CMMC-RP, has been an IT and information security professional for over 25 years. He has architected and delivered a diverse array of innovative cybersecurity services, and has conducted hundreds of high-quality technical tests on client networks of all sizes and complexity. With a deep level of technical expertise, Steve breaks down highly complex exploitation techniques to help clients both identify and mitigate risks in their data environments.
Dr. Bianca Baker-Eck holds a PhD in Investigative Psychology and a Master’s in Forensic and Legal Psychology. A lecturer, senior researcher, and project manager at Munich University of Applied Sciences (Dept. of Policing, Bavaria), Dr. Baker-Eck’s security research has been recognized by the United Nations for its contribution to rapport-building and empathy in police interrogations and other high-stakes interactions. Her work for the European Union’s Horizon program focused on national defense, including cyber-defense, as well as national security, cybercrime, money laundering, terrorism, and extremism. Dr. Baker-Eck is a Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) and CMMC Registered Practitioner (RP), and is highly skilled at forming partnerships with those building and assessing cybersecurity programs.
For over a decade, Jim has assisted diverse clients across the private & public sector, including healthcare, finance, and DoD contractor industries. Jim holds a Certified Information Security Management (CISM®) certification from ISACA®. Coming from a long family history of military service, Jim is passionate about helping clients build adaptive cybersecurity programs that practically address compliance challenges and help them further their business goals.
