To combat this growing threat to the Defense Industrial Base, Joe will discuss the DoD’s new Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). This new certification requires various cybersecurity defenses to be in place and will be required for all contractors and subcontractors of the DoD who handle Federal Contract Information (FCI) or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Monarch ISC became the 7th organization authorized by the DoD to conduct certification assessments in 2022. Monarch ISC trains assessors for other authorized companies, and works with DIB companies across the country preparing them for certification.
